Roch Marc Christian KABORE
Mr Christophe Joseph-Marie DABIRE holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Economic Sciences and a Diploma of Advanced Specialised Studies (DESS) in Business Administration. He is an economist specialised in development planning and business management. It’s been more than thirty-two years since he is working in the senior administration of Burkina Faso.
He served in turn at the Ministry of Economy and Planning as Director of Studies and Projects and Director General of Cooperation before being called to government functions as Minister of Health from 1992 to 1997 and Minister of Secondary and Higher Education and Scientific Research from 1997 to 2000.
Elected Deputy to the National Assembly of Burkina Faso in 1997, he was re-elected in 2002. From 2002 to 2007 he was President of the Finance and Budget Committee.
From March 2007 to May 2017, he was the Commissioner of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) Commission for Burkina Faso and was in charge of the Regional Market, Trade, Competition and Cooperation Department (DMRC).
