Dr. Ousséni TAMBOURA, holder of a PhD in private law on the financial development of WAEMU countries, has been an executive of the Burkinabe public administration for more than 20 years. He is also a graduate of the Faculties of Law and Political Science of the University of Ouagadougou, the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, the African Centre for Higher Studies in Management of Dakar and the Digital Campus of the University of Nantes.
Under the banner of the People’s Movement for Progress (MPP), Dr. TAMBOURA was elected Deputy to the National Assembly in 2015, for the province of Soum. He chaired the Commission of Inquiry on Mining Titles and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2016. Regularly he consults on strategic issues such as the audit and reorganisation of public training institutions and provides training and action partnerships with national and international organisations (OAS, USAID, Swiss Cooperation, ILO).
He is a member of the African Network of Training Engineers, the B.M-O.M.S. which is a Leadership Programme for Universal Health Coverage.
Dr. TAMBOURA was appointed Minister of Communication and Relations with Parliament, Spokesperson of the Government, on January 10, 2021.
